The Cybertech Services is headed by Dr Sheel. S. Thakur. He has more than 30 years experience working on different IT management positions in IBM US and IBM India. During these years:

  •  He was a member of the IBM executive team, which started  the company’s Software  Development Center in India to outsource applications development & maintenance projects. He worked as the Business Development manager during the start-up of the software development efforts, promoting IT global sourcing to India from IBM units throughout the globe.
  • Later, he headed the Global Liaison Office to manage Engagement, Delivery and Solution Assurance of globally sourced projects, which resulted in significant savings to IBM. He also, initiated project performance measurements for quality, reliability and on-time delivery to ensure project success,
  • In 1995, Dr. Thakur founded the first Chapter of the Project Management Institute (PMI) in Bangalore, in order to train and certify project managers in India. Several thousand PMPs were trained and certified and more chapters were started in Mumbai, Chennai, New Delhi, Hyderabad and Pune while Sheel was President of Bangalore Chapter.
  • The IBM global sourcing experience enabled Sheel to become an expert in meeting challenges associated with engagement, solution assurance & delivery of global sourcing projects. A Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) since 1997, Sheel is proficient in the application of disciplined project management practices, proven processes, methodologies and tools and has worked on a variety of projects developing solutions to unique problems of many large US customers.
